From 6 - 10 PM on Friday Sept 10th ALTER and friends will be partying the night away with a LIVE PHOTO SHOOT featuring YOU! Come on down and get your photo taken to be featured on our blog! Whats better then sipping champagne, posing like Naomi and hanging out in Greenpoint? It's Fashion Night Out Franklin Street style!

We have BRAND new Fall collections from Preloved, Life After Denim, Kill City, Shades of Grey and so much more.

Don't forget about the after party from 10 - 2 AM at Veronica People's Club (right next to the shop) following all the shops festivities.

Its going to be a fun! Put on some heels girls! Boys you better dress to impress you never know who may show up...

Fashion's Night Out was a blast! Franklin Street was street was all a-buzz, people were out and about past 11PM- shopping, drinking and shop hoping. We were so excited to be a part of this event- hopefully it will become a tradition to kick off every NY Fashion week with a night out for Fashion! And many, many thanks to everyone who got out there and SHOPPED last night!

Tomorrow night is FASHION'S NIGHT OUT and we have the official t-shirt available at Alter. T-shirts are $30.00. Proceeds from sales of the shirt go to the 9-11 Memorial fund. This is definitely going to become a collectors item as this event gains a tremendous buzz around the city and the globe. We only have 18 T-Shirts available (in womens size XS through Large only) so stop in and pick one up!

Fashion's Night Out on Franklin Street

Visit Franklin Street boutiques: Alter, Dalaga, Kill Devil Hill and Hayden-Harnett on Thursday, September 10th for Fashion's Night Out! We'll all be staying open late and serving drinks & deals in honor of this "global celebration of fashion". Support independent businesses- shop local!

Alter to Participate in Fashion's Night Out

Alter will be participating in Fashion's Night Out on September 10th, 2009. The idea behind Fashion's Night Out is "to enliven again the consumer spirit that churns the economy and boosts the local industry of America’s fashion capital, New York City."

Alter will be one of few stores in Brooklyn selling the Fashion's Night Out official tee shirt (proceeds to go to Sept. 11 Memorial fund) that evening, as well as celebrating with fall fashion, music, booze and lots of flash photography! More details will be announced next week.

Vogue editor Anna Wintour appeared on David Letterman last night to promote the movie The September Issue and of course Fashion's Night Out... she's too fierce!
