Exclusive! Osborn for ALTER

We are very excited to introduce an exclusive collaboration, OSBORN for ALTER shoes. Working together with the designers of Osborn footwear we have created some amazing shoes using vintage fabric from the Alter archives. These shoes are all handmade in Guatemala by artisans and each pair is signed by its maker. The below styles were made for women but guys we will have some for you very soon.

Made up from vintage cashmere/ wool black and grey houndstooth fabric mixed with black felted wool. The interior lining is made up of denim.

Osborn shoes look great as you wear them and they break in.

This oxford design is a classic Osborn shape and it is enhanced with this punch of turquoise.

This fabric comes from vintage jeans and the original denim side seam is used to make up the toe cap The interior lining is also made from cotton denim.

Here you can see the craftsmanship of the artisans within the leather work. Also you will find the signature of the maker on the bottoms as well. We love the contrast between the bold turquoise and the warm color of the leather.

ALTER + Osborn Shoes

ALTER has teamed up with Osborn Shoes to create these exclusive and limited edition shoes which are only available in our shops.


ALTER + Osborn Shoes $99.00
These very special shoes were created by the Osborn shoemakers in Guatemala. The gorgeous fabric was given to us from a dear friend who took a trip around the world. When she was in Tanzania, Africa she purchased this fabric and told us to do something cool with it. We approached the Osborn shoemakers and voila an ALTER exclusive.

We have only two pair for Men sizes (41 and 43)
two pairs for woman ( 37 and 38).

New: Osborn Shoes

Osborn is a design group who have recently dived into the world of unique footwear. This Greenpoint, Brooklyn based duo work with a fair trade organization in Guatemala City to create these one-of-kind shoes. Salvaging fabrics and old materials from the small town of Le Esperanza, Osborn reconstructs the fibers into the amazing shoes you see here.
Mostly made of canvas fabrics with leather soles these shoes are definitely a cool statement.

Due to the nature of using found materials we only have the shoes below in their corresponding sizes. These are one-of-a-kind. More shoes in different colorways will be arriving soon as well as styles for Men!
